Insurance Remediation Estimator - Newcastle NSW | Evolve Talent

Evolve Talent is partnering with a leading national builder to find a driven and capable Insurance Remediation Estimator to manage estimating responsibilities across a diverse range of projects in Newcastle NSW.

This is a position for an experience estimator, suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, precision, and building long-term relationships within the insurance building sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates and tenders for insurance remediation projects up to $500,000 in value.
  • Assess scope of works and provide accurate costings in line with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure tenders and quotes align with construction capabilities and timelines.
  • Build strong relationships with insurance providers, loss adjusters, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, trade pricing, and industry trends.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in insurance or remediation estimating.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, trade practices, and estimating software.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with remote teams.
  • A background in residential or light commercial construction is highly desirable.

Location & Travel:

  • Based in Newcastle with travel to project sites as needed.
  • Flexibility to manage your schedule and workload autonomously.
  • Fully expensed UTE
