The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Engineering and Planning team in Melbourne, Victoria on a 24 Month Fixed Term Contract.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in project management and coordinate technical activities to assist in the delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all components of the project are delivered to approved work scopes.
  • Maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with peers and customers.
  • Manage construction, commissioning, hand over and close out activities.
  • Manage security head integrator and security integrators to complete configuration and programming.
  • Assist with FAT, SAT and commissioning for the security system.
  • Raise tickets and liaise with APA IT team to get the required IT set-ups completed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, raise change requests, and provide ongoing progress reports.
Your Background
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent (required).
  • Experience in physical security systems design, installation and commissioning (preferred).
  • Ability to work unsupervised and productively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, power generation Industry or similar environment in design and commissioning.
  • Experience in Security System Programming for Gallagher and Milestone (preferred).
