Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The role of the Diagnostic Imaging Specialist involves delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, clients, and clinicians in a multidisciplinary setting. The successful candidate will be required to actively participate in delivering person-focused care, working collaboratively with a team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a full range of general ultrasound exams, including MSK, obstetrics, and interventional imaging.
  • Interpret request information, select optimal protocols, and adapt to various clinical scenarios.
  • Work effectively within a team, allocate workloads according to skills and competencies, and participate in the department roster.
  • Evidence of ongoing personal professional development and contribution to supervision or development of others.
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate qualifications in ultrasound and current registration with a relevant accreditation body as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with diverse groups.
  • Able to drive/travel as required, involving long distances and overnight stays.
