About the Role

Southern NSW Local Health District covers a large area of southern NSW, providing high-quality healthcare services to over 200,000 people. We are a major local employer with 18 facilities across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Sonographer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of person-focused services to patients, clients, and clinicians.

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging services using ultrasound technology. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and sustainable care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality diagnostic imaging services using ultrasound technology
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and sustainable care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain skills and competencies
Selection Criteria
  • Post-graduate qualifications in ultrasound with current Registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret request information, select optimal protocol, and adapt to various clinical scenarios
  • Evidence of ongoing personal CPD and contribution to supervision or development of others
