We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Echocardiography Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, as well as operational skills in ultrasound equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. The echocardiography specialist will perform 2-D/Doppler/Colorflow ultrasound procedures as directed by physicians, utilizing their expertise in patient positioning and transducer selection.
  2. Conduct transesophageal, stress, and contrast echocardiograms with precision and accuracy.
  3. Schedule patients for ultrasound procedures and effectively communicate the process to ensure seamless experiences.
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Order and stock necessary ultrasound supplies to prevent delays and interruptions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly in relation to echocardiography.
  • Operational proficiency in ultrasound equipment, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing guidelines, procedures, and priorities.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to contribute to a cohesive and efficient work environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Registration through ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) is mandatory.
