Job Description

As a senior operations manager, you will oversee day-to-day activities at a residential care facility. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality care and support to residents.

The role involves guiding your team to achieve operational excellence, upholding quality standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to deliver exceptional care and comprehensive support for residents
  • Overseeing the operational performance of the facility, including accreditation, staffing, safety, etc.
  • Consistently upholding quality and accreditation standards
  • Ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
  • Safeguarding optimal occupancy levels

Requirements for this position include experience in managing aged care facilities, AHPRA registration, knowledge of aged care funding and legislation, current vaccinations and certification, and relevant screening checks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills

Aged care management certifications and relevant industry experience are highly desirable.
