The Deputy Executive Manager role supports the residential home's operations. This includes developing managers in an aged care environment, with a generous remuneration package and benefits.

**Position Summary:**

This is a senior management position within the organisation.

The Deputy Executive Manager will lead and manage the consolidation, direction, growth, and operations of integrated and clinical services models covering residential aged care through capable leadership and change management.

**About the Role:**

The Deputy Executive Manager will establish, lead, and manage clinical governance and risk frameworks and activities within and across organisational services. They will provide leadership and innovation within integrated and clinical services models.

**Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain quality reporting and accreditation status
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and other relevant legislative requirements
- Monitor financial performance of the Care Services division and provide timely analysis of budget variances
- Complete audit requirements on time and in accordance with organisational requirements
- Manage feedback and complaint investigation processes
- Implement operational strategies aligned with SCC strategic direction
- Maximise funding opportunities for revenue growth within the Care Services division
- Maintain current policy and procedure framework to support staff in operational roles

**Selection Criteria:**

- Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a large organisation in the Aged Care sector
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Contemporary knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act
- Extensive knowledge of Residential and Clinical Care Packages and community-funded programs
- Detailed knowledge of funding instruments and models applicable to the industry
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current and satisfactory National Police Certificate and Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tas.)
