Job Description

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will lead the development and improvement of commercial reporting to aid decision-making by senior executives. Stakeholder engagement with internal and external decision-makers is key to ensure timely and accurate reporting of the organisation's budgeting and forecasting. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Drive the group's strategy across the FP&A function.
  2. Manage delivery of FP&A through planned acquisitions over the next 12-18 months.
  3. Own the monthly reporting process, manage deadlines, and provide variance analysis.
  4. Communicate analysis results to the wider operational business and ensure continuous improvement and value addition.
  5. Identify potential risks, underperformance, areas for improvement, and opportunities, working with other business areas to mitigate or capitalize on them.
  6. Ensure financial governance systems are fit for purpose and monitor adherence to frameworks.
  7. Proactively identify and manage business risks.
  8. Demonstrate insight into the marketplace and industry drivers; work closely with management to design strategy, service, and delivery.

The Successful Applicant

CA or CPA qualified, with excellent communication skills, proven stakeholder management experience, and a desire to improve existing analysis tools and reporting. The candidate should have proven finance business partnering experience in a medium to large corporate, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
