Early Childhood Support Coordinator

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. As an Early Childhood Coordinator, you will be part of Northcott's dedicated team delivering the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service across Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, Northern Sydney, and Western Sydney.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will support families with concerns about their child's development, providing guidance and expertise to help them navigate the early childhood system. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting observations and analyzing information from screening tools and assessments to understand developmental milestones.
- Identifying and explaining pathways for support, including access to early interventions or NDIS services.
- Connecting families with local mainstream and community services, such as childcare, education options, and recreation.
- Working with families to establish goals and priorities for their child's development.
- Supporting families in implementing their child's NDIS plan and finding suitable service providers.

- A competitive salary package estimated at around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and experience.

To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience in supporting families using a family-focused and strengths-based approach.
- Moderate report writing and IT skills, including database management and proficiency in computer software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Working with Children's Check Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and current Driver's Licence.
