Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

Job Description:

This role presents a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to contribute to the success of our organisation. As a key member of the HR department, you will provide expert guidance and support to business leaders, ensuring the efficient operation of human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional HR advice and coaching to business leaders
  • Mentor and develop HR team members and business managers
  • Support the implementation of standardised processes in HR, Talent Development, Organisational Development, and Learning & Development
  • Manage workers' compensation and injury management cases with Health Safety Environment Quality and Policy Compliance Governance Manager
  • Act as point of escalation for HR team regarding payroll issues, union queries, and dispute handling
  • Develop a comprehensive HR Dashboard of key people metrics with Policy Compliance Governance Manager
  • Ensure currency and relevance of policies, procedures, and governance framework

About You:

We are seeking an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, clear communication, and high organisational capabilities. Ideally, you will possess:

  • 5-7 years experience in a similar senior influencing role, with sound knowledge of business practices, preferably in mining
  • Practical experience supporting both salaried and award-based workforces
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (e.g., Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law, Psychology)
  • Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills
