An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Senior Claims Consultant, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of injury claims and promoting a culture of workplace safety.
- Provide expert consultation services to injured employees and management within complex environments, utilizing your skills and experience to resolve claims and compensation matters.
- Proactively identify barriers to effective management and develop strategic solutions through stakeholder consultation, fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at the South Australian Employment Tribunal, negotiating appropriate resolutions for workers' compensation disputes and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Determine and apply entitlements for Permanent Impairment Assessments and Additional Compensation claims, providing accurate and timely advice to support business decision-making.
- Lead preparation of comprehensive file reviews, including claimant return-to-work goals and progression assessments, to ensure effective case management and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with Return-to-Work Consultants to effectively manage work-injured employees, aligning with organizational policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of government and departmental injury management policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement and best practice.
- Provide expert advice, consultation, and assistance on injury management legislation, processes, and principles, sharing knowledge and expertise to support colleague development.
