Banking Case Officer

At Randstad, we are seeking a skilled Case Officer to join our team in a case management and assessment position. This is a 6 month contract position with potential to be extended or made permanent. Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply.
About the Role:As a Case Officer, you will be responsible for assessing financial services complaints and determining if they have grounds for investigation. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing financial services complaints applications and making determinations on complaint legitimacy and viability
- Following up with customers over email and phone to clarify case information and obtain additional required material
- Effectively managing a portfolio of 15-20 cases a week
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $35.86 p/h plus super. You will also have the opportunity to move across into a permanent position, gain exposure within a leading financial services provider, and receive comprehensive training over 4 weeks. Additionally, you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days working from home.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in administration or client-facing roles within the financial services or legal sectors. You will require:
- 1+ years experience working in administration or client services in banking, insurance, superannuation, wealth management or legal
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
- High level attention to detail
