Job Opportunity: Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of Juju, a large open-source Go project that powers complex distributed software systems across the world.

Juju is the engine behind model-driven operations, providing a means to operate complex software on public cloud, private cloud, Kubernetes, and bare-metal.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a distributed team and drive innovation in cloud automation and software operations at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing software using Go and excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, especially in online environments.

A strong academic track record and willingness to travel occasionally for internal events are also required.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and support of features in a highly concurrent, highly distributed system.
  • Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
  • Debug issues and interact with upstream communities publicly.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience developing software using Go.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong academic track record.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
