Cloud Operations Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Pulumi, Terraform, and Ansible.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker Kubernetes, Rancher.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing automation tools and scripts in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Employ Pulumi or Terraform extensively to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
  2. Automation Development: Lead in the creation of an automation framework using Pulumi, Terraform, and Ansible, coupled with strong Python programming skills to automate and create a catalog of services aimed at streamlining cloud operations tasks.
  3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery: Develop and maintain a robust IaC strategy using Pulumi or Terraform to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
  4. Process Automation: Identify and automate routine cloud operations tasks, minimizing manual interventions and promoting operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in Pulumi or Terraform for IaC, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful deployments.
  • Proficient in Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing automation tools and scripts in a cloud environment.
