Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to take on a standalone role, working closely with both the JV and the Vietnamese parent company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Australian and Vietnamese financial and accounting regulations, as well as experience in serving as a financial bridge between entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all financial and accounting functions for the JV, ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
  • Act as the key point of contact to communicate and reconcile financial matters between the Vietnamese parent company and the JV partner in Australia.
  • Coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Support external audits and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Use SAP (a leading accounting software system) to manage financial records and reporting.
  • Provide strategic input on financial planning and business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Based in Australia, preferably with previous experience in the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of both Australian and Vietnamese accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Vietnamese language ability is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural or joint venture environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a small, dynamic team.
  • Management-level experience in finance or accounting functions.
Preferred Profiles:
  • Vietnamese international students currently working in Australia, or overseas Vietnamese professionals (Việt Kiều) with Vietnamese language ability.
  • Candidates without permanent residency are welcome to apply; we are open to sponsoring a work permit.
