Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic Front Office team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K'gari (Fraser Island). As a permanent part-time position, this live-on-island role offers an opportunity to work and live at one of Australia's most iconic destinations.

Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role in a large Hotel or Resort based environment, with exceptional time management skills, excellent communication skills, and an extraordinarily high level of customer service and work ethic. Key responsibilities include:
  • Greeting all incoming and outgoing guests, managing check-in and check-out processes.
  • Accurately allocating rooms and welcoming guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Directing guests to the appropriate check-in area and coordinating bus arrivals and guest arrivals as required.
  • Managing phone calls in a timely and professional manner, directing guests to rooms on arrivals, and being familiar with room rates and reservation information.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information for guests, including billing arrangements and payments on check-out.
  • FOLLOWING IN-HOUSE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES TO MAINTAIN GUEST SECURITY.
  • Assisting guests with general enquiries and providing prompt delivery of messages to rooms.

Salary and Benefits
This role is expected to attract a salary around $50,000 - $60,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience, plus affordable island living options starting from $150.44 per week, which includes accommodation, meals, and Wi-Fi. Additional benefits include an annual $1,000 travel allowance, exclusive discounts, employee training programs, recognition programs, and wellness perks such as access to the pool, gym, tennis courts, and more.
