Design Support Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled design professional to join our team, supporting the design process with product samples, administration, fit, storyboards, and range concepts.

  • The role ensures the quality of apparel is maintained throughout development and production stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the design team to develop range concepts.
  • Attend fittings to ensure style development continuity.
  • Participate in all fit meetings and discussions impacting range development.
  • Collaborate with designers to select trims for the range.
  • Develop creative concepts for presentations, maintaining clarity and consistency.
  • Create monthly storyboards focusing on mood and colour themes.
  • Source and develop fabrics in line with brand requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to monitor development, availability, lead times, and costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferred.
  • Experience with illustration software packages is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships internally and externally are essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team.
