Specialist Family Violence Practitioner

Working in family violence services requires a deep understanding of the complex issues that affect individuals and families.
We are seeking an experienced practitioner to join our team, providing screening, assessment, triage, and short-term response to referrals for people experiencing family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to address the needs of clients experiencing family violence.
- Collaborating with other practitioners to increase client safety and provide effective support services.
- Providing education and training on family violence to staff and community members.
The successful applicant will have a strong background in social work, knowledge of family violence, and experience working in complex service delivery contexts.
Requirements- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in family violence practice.
- Strong understanding of MARAM, the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme, and the Child Information Sharing Scheme.
