
Family Violence Crisis Manager

You will be responsible for providing crisis response and risk assessment services to women and children affected by family violence. This involves delivering trauma-informed support, prioritizing victim survivor safety and empowerment.
You will work closely with various frameworks and guidelines to manage risk and hold perpetrators accountable, including the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) and the Child Information Sharing Scheme (CISS).
- Advocate for victim survivors and collaborate with local services to provide holistic support.
- Participate in an on-call roster to respond to crisis situations.
- Support clients in emergency accommodation and help with safety planning and material aid.
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent is required, as well as relevant experience in family violence crisis intervention and case management.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and family violence frameworks is essential.
- You should have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- A valid Victorian Driver Licence, Working with Children Check, and satisfactory police check are also required.
This role requires a strong commitment to supporting those affected by family violence and working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
