About Our Client:
Our client Samsung is a renowned brand in the electronics industry, seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to join their Sydney team.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing conversation-worthy social media ideas and campaigns, fostering one of Australia's best social communities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing social media activities to establish Samsung as an innovator in the industry;
  • Driving engagement across social media platforms and providing support in strategic decisions and reporting on key metrics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Senior Social Media Lead and agency partners to develop and implement the social media strategy, with a focus on always-on activity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the social media content calendar and organic publishing;
  • Leading Samsung's influencer and advocacy programs;
  • Collaborating with the team and agency partners to produce best-practice social content;
  • Daily social media monitoring to identify trends and opportunities.

About You:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years' social media experience, including management of an ongoing content calendar, strategy, and ideation, plus reporting and insights. Key skills and qualities include:

  • Creative thinking and a customer-centric focus;
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to edit content, including videos, imagery, animations, and other digital content.
