Job Title

Executive Level 1, Non-ongoing position in Melbourne or Canberra. This role resides in the Data Advisory team of the Data Governance Section.

  • About the Role
  • This position will contribute to Australian Climate Service (ACS) reporting and working group documents as well as active participation in working group meetings.
  • The role will coordinate data management activities undertaken by Bureau data managers and work with internal stakeholders across the enterprise on information rights management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhancing existing documentation and tools to comply with enterprise governance structures and engagement with data stewards and customers about the Bureau's and partner agencies' data assets.
  • Coordinating data management activities and working with internal stakeholders on information rights management.
  • Contributing to ACS reporting and working group documents and participating in working group meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven skills in data governance and data & information management.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder liaison and relationship building, maintaining professionalism even in a high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, influencing and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including active listening.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering successful and innovative outcomes, project advice and coordination, particularly across multiple government agencies.

Working Conditions
