We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to lead the development and implementation of data privacy and governance strategies across our organization.

About the Role:

  • Develop a roadmap for data privacy and governance across the organization\
  • Oversee a robust data and privacy governance framework, ensuring requirements and methodologies are embedded across the company\
  • Manage key elements within the roles remit on data lifecycle and compliance\
  • Support incident response and breach management activities\
  • Collaborate with technology and security teams to align privacy and data requirements to new technology and initiatives, acquisitions and business growth\
  • Lead employee training and awareness programs, building a strong culture of privacy and data responsibility\
  • Analyse and report on data governance metrics and KPIs\\-

  • Confident leader who has demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise\
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian Privacy Legislation and global privacy frameworks\
