We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Specialist to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
This position requires a commitment to helping others and providing emotional and physical support to individuals who require it. The Support Specialist will assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and help individuals with meal preparation and feeding.
The Support Specialist will also administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, accompany individuals to appointments and activities, and maintain accurate records of services provided.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a compassionate and patient demeanor.
You will also need to be able to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism, and have basic computer skills and a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
