The Opportunity

This role plays a vital part in providing efficient catering support services within our Home, ensuring high-quality meals and refreshments for residents while maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Setup each servery and dining area ready for meal periods according to our standards.
  • Prepare trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
  • Clean and maintain areas where food is prepared and served.
  • Assist with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitor and record requirements of our Food Safety Plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prior experience in catering assistance or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
  • Effective communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Work collaboratively as a team member, prioritizing and adapting to meet resident needs.
  • Digital literacy.
