Culinary Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Flynns Beach. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food in a timely and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assisting with menu creation and implementation
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
  • Providing exceptional customer service to owners and guests dining in our Tree Bar and Grill a la carte restaurant

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Cook or similar position, within a resort/hotel environment
  • A thorough understanding of the principles of food safety and hygiene of food preparation
  • Innovative and have passion for preparing high-quality restaurant meals, with the ability to produce and create menus
  • An open friendly manner and positive attitude and team spirit
  • Great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise varying work demands and work load
  • The ability to work unsupervised in a pressured environment
  • Excellent people, communication and customer service skills
