Festival Event Support Officer - Join our vibrant team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to provide support for the planning, coordination and delivery of community focussed heritage events. In this role, you will work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to build on the success of previous festivals to deliver a new program of diverse and engaging events.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • - Assist with the development of festival promotional content and collateral;
  • - Undertake administrative and support tasks associated with the festival, including event registrations, collection of event details and information, database entry, ticketing and supplier invoicing and payments;
  • - Provide logistical requirements, including venue bookings, signage, marketing materials and others as directed.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • - Previous experience in festival or event support, administration, coordination or similar;
  • - Strong administrative and computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office suite, databases and/or ticketing systems;
  • - Good communication skills, including ability to present and communicate information verbally and in a variety of written formats;
  • - Ability to work after hours and weekends as required over the festival delivery period.

Eligibility:
