About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Café/Kiosk Attendant to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café, including cleaning and restocking supplies as needed
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and patrons
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promote healthy food options to customers
  • Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and be available to work during peak periods

Requirements

  • Positive and friendly work style with excellent communication skills
  • Coffee making and barista skills, or willingness to learn
  • Food handling certificate and current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • Current CPR Certificate and Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
