Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished procurement professional to lead our procurement and contracts team in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will possess delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify upcoming issues that require action or further advice.
  • Working as a procurement business partner, managing a team to develop market approach documentation, evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts.
  • Leading an integrated approach to identifying procurement requirements early in the process.
  • Ensuring agency procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements and industry standards.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of technical literature and standards applicable to the preparation of procurement and contract activities.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary degree or diploma in procurement, business, law, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in procurement/contract preparation, administration and supervision.
  • Well-developed customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
