Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our fraud intelligence team in delivering timely, relevant, and actionable insights and strategic risk mitigation opportunities.

This role is responsible for ensuring tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products analyse and leverage available data to support business understanding and outcomes relating to fraud.

  • Support the design and improvement of automated fraud control measures across the organisation.
  • Identify weaknesses in existing controls and advise on rectifications.
  • Devise and coordinate intelligence issue development projects and assess operations across the organisation.
  • Lead innovation in fraud detection methods to deliver effective solutions representing industry best practice.
  • Manage the intelligence team, providing direction, feedback, and support.
  • Ensure team members are informed, engaged, and contributing to shared goals.
  • Provide advice to assist stakeholders in understanding and managing their detection risks.
  • Understand innovative products underpinning the execution of the Fraud & Intelligence strategic plan.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to highlight fraud insights and mitigate risk.
  • Uplift the capability of Fraud & Intelligence practices

Requirements:

  • At least five years' experience creating insights and recommendations from qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience as a practitioner completing intelligence operations and using target development methodology is desired.
  • Qualifications in Fraud, Intelligence, Criminology, or Investigation are highly valued
  • Experience using statistical tools such as SAS, Pentaho, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading technical teams.
  • Excellent report writing and editing skills.
  • Effective oral communicator with demonstrated stakeholder management.
  • Ability to operate confidently in multiple contexts with changing requirements
