Financial Leadership Role

Our company is seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our dynamic finance team. As a key stakeholder, this role will provide financial leadership and support to stakeholders outside of finance, focusing on business partnering with key business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to analyze business strategy, processes, and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilize data insights and reporting to drive business improvement, facilitating profitable growth.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business model and its drivers to inform future planning and recommendations.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, prepare new business cases, monitor spend, and complete post-project reviews.
  • Prepare financial models and margin analysis to support business decisions and development of targets and calculation of sales commissions.
  • Report monthly margin analysis and provide commentaries on variances between actuals and budget or forecast.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insightful analysis of monthly performance and developing leading indicator insights.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA or CPA or equivalent qualified.
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting or finance business partnering.
  • Experience developing and presenting analytical findings to stakeholders.
  • Financial modeling experience to identify new business opportunities and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to interpret and report financial information supporting decision making and business performance.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in developing and maintaining strategic working relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas) and experience with PowerPoint presentations and business intelligence tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance roles.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
