Job Opportunity: Principal Systems Analyst

This is a key role in the organization, responsible for providing expert advice and content knowledge of the Queensland Health rostering solution (Workbrain). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, support, system issue and problem resolution activities to meet service delivery and payroll production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing management of processes and solutions for archiving data from the QH Rostering and Payroll Technology Solution. This includes ensuring future access to meet and support new and ongoing business requirements.
  • Proactively assess the effectiveness of the rostering solution by analyzing logged issues and liaising closely with stakeholders to solve problems and recommend modifications to improve system effectiveness.
  • Provide expert advice on changes to the solution design to ensure the system remains robust, fit for purpose and meets requirements for the production of daily and fortnightly pays.

Requirements:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional who has proven experience in analyzing and solving complex business issues related to the delivery of the pay production process. This includes formulating, documenting and implementing work procedures and configuration guidelines that recognize system and business process integration points critical in payroll production.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and award structures in Government.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders on complex business requirements and transfer knowledge to team members and clients.
  • Proven experience in the support and maintenance of large-scale rostering solutions (preferably Workbrain IWFM Rostering Modules).
