Language Empire is seeking an experienced interpreter and translator to provide high-quality language services. Our clients include the NHS, local authorities, police, probation and other public and private organisations.

The role involves interpreting and translating content from one language to another with 100% accuracy. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings and locations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Ensuring non-English speakers understand after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Handling highly confidential information
  • Liaising between service users and providers

Requirements:

  • Fluent English and another language
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications advantageous (DPSI, Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered)
  • Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
  • Other interpreting related qualification
