Senior Legal Counsel Role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to provide expert guidance and support across commercial matters and projects.

  • The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in law, with demonstrable experience in commercial settings.
About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified legal professional to take on a leadership role in our team. You will have:

  • A Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a full-service law firm or in-house role.
  • Proven experience in commercial negotiations, with strong advisory, communication, and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a practical and commercially minded approach.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make sound decisions.
Main Responsibilities

The Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters and complex projects. This includes:

  • Drafting and negotiating diverse commercial agreements.
  • Advising management on legal matters and risk mitigation, aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Supporting business growth, including navigating new and evolving regulations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective legal management.

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality legal advice in commercial settings.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to train and develop junior lawyers.
