Leading Commercial Lawyer

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded commercial lawyer to provide expert legal guidance and support to our advisory legal function and daily operations across Australia and New Zealand.
About the Role:- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters and complex projects.
- Draft and negotiate diverse commercial agreements for real estate services, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Advise management on legal matters and risk mitigation, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
- Support the development of innovative solutions to navigate new and evolving regulations, while minimizing risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance legal processes and improve risk management.
- Monitor legal developments and proactively manage associated risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Lead and mentor other lawyers in the team, providing leadership in allocating work, training, and development, as well as measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.
- A Bachelor of Laws degree with demonstrable experience in a commercial setting.
- A current Practising Certificate in New South Wales (or equivalent).
- At least 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in a full-service law firm or in-house role, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent advisory, communication, and leadership capabilities, with strong negotiation skills and a practical approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make sound decisions.
