About the Role

The Senior Employee Relations Coordinator role is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role is a key member of the People and Culture department, working closely with senior management and employees to resolve workplace issues and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to prevent and resolve workplace disputes.
  • Provide high-level advice and guidance to senior management on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and external agencies to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and equity.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in employee relations, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and human resources principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound recommendations.
