Job Title: Specialist Family Violence Practitioner - Shepparton

Job Summary: Tradewind Australia is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to join their team in Shepparton. As a key member of the Orange Door Hub, you will provide comprehensive intake, safety assessments, brief intervention, and referral support to individuals and families impacted by family violence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough safety assessments and provide interventions for individuals and families affected by family violence
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure timely and effective support services
  • Provide referrals and work with external agencies to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with case management experience OR a diploma qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years case management experience in AOD, family services, family violence, homelessness, youth, or mental health
  • Ideal experience in family violence or a related field
  • A passion for empowering vulnerable individuals and families

What We Offer:

  • Full-time or 0.8 EFT (ongoing contract)
  • Salary of $97,000 - $101,000 + super + salary packaging
  • 4 weeks of annual leave
  • 12 days personal leave per year
  • 20 days Family Violence Leave
  • 5 days exam, PD, and study leave for full-time staff, with a Professional Development Allowance
  • Access to purchased leave
  • Relocation assistance ($3500) + referral to the Community Connector Program run by the local government, helping you settle in with ease
