About the Role:The Victim Liaison Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of services to victims of crime. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing service delivery according to established guidelines and protocols.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of service delivery according to the Charter of Victims' Rights, Director's Guidelines, and the ODPP's Victim Liaison Manual
  • Developing and maintaining policies and procedures based on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse to ensure an effective and relevant Victim Liaison Service
  • Compiling and analysing statistical reports
  • Mentoring and providing advice, guidance, and training to Victim Liaison Officers
  • Preparing and delivering training programs to staff of the Victim Liaison Service
Working Arrangements:

The VLS Coordinator for Southeast Queensland Chambers oversees Victim Liaison services in Beenleigh, Southport, Toowoomba, Ipswich, and Maroochydore Chambers. The VLS Coordinators for the statewide Call Centre will commence with standard business hours and progress to a choice of early shift (7am-3pm) or late shift (1pm-9pm).
