Procurement Manager Job Description

At Foxtel Group, we're seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join our Procurement and Supply Team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the procurement process across various portfolios, including technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic sourcing services to key business partners across the Foxtel group
  • Develop sourcing strategies across multiple categories, including supply chain, corporate, and transformation-related projects
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Manage key supplier reviews and support contract performance management for the business
  • Work closely with stakeholders to build rapport and ensure alignment with business strategies at the group level
Requirements:
  • Solid 5+ years of category and sourcing experience in a strategic sourcing function, preferably in technology, media, or professional services
  • Complete end-to-end contract life cycle experience, from sourcing to contract management
  • Proven experience in managing categories, including developing and implementing and maintaining category and sourcing strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills, and contract negotiations and creating risk mitigation plans and strategies
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where norms are constantly being challenged
  • Bachelor's degree qualification, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Management
