About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead commercial relationships with the business and suppliers. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert, driving sustainable outcomes for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of four
  • Develop, drive, and measure business initiatives and objectives
  • Provide operational direction on activities across supplier lifecycle sourcing and contract management
  • Deliver value through collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Manage the effective operational delivery of category management, demand management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract management, and purchasing
  • Lead complex supplier negotiations to maximise commercial value and mitigate supply risk
  • Continually challenge internal systems and processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to business users for tactical and transactional procurement activities
Requirements
  • Experience working in infrastructure, construction, utilities, or a similar industry
  • Proven track record of partnering with stakeholders to develop and execute strategy
