Critical Care Nurse Position

Healthcare professionals with expertise in anaesthetic nursing are sought to join our team at Mount Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.

  • The role involves working closely with anesthetists to provide high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

About the Role:

  • We require highly skilled critical care nurses with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining and enhancing clinical skills to effectively manage patient health issues is crucial for this position.
  • Providing quality patient care using available resources efficiently and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Working within legal and registration requirements related to anesthesia practice.
  • Identifying potential risks to patient safety and taking appropriate action.
  • Utilizing hospital equipment and resources effectively while adhering to safety guidelines.

About You:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience as a critical care nurse or technician is required.
  • A Diploma Qualification in Anaesthetic Technology and/or Cert IV Anaesthetic Technology is mandatory.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • You should be able to monitor and evaluate patient care under supervision, and demonstrate flexibility with rostering and commitment to teamwork.
