We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Recovery/PACU team at a leading high-level tertiary healthcare facility in Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to patients in the Recovery/PACU department.
- Lead and Mentor Nursing Team Members: Supervise, direct, and guide Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care and support their professional development.
- Develop and Implement Quality Improvement Initiatives: Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes and improve patient care.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs and ensure seamless care transitions.
- Model Safe Practice: Act as a role model for safe practice and promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.

About You- Experience and Qualifications: 2 years RN experience in Recovery/PACU Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, OR ENT surgery.
- Authority to Work in Australia: Possess Authority to Work in Australia.
- Working with Children Check: Hold a current Working with Children check.
- Education and Registration: Hold a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent and be currently registered with AHPRA.
- Clinical Expertise and Commitment: Demonstrate clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-functioning team.
