Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Special Care Nursery, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care.
- Develop and utilize strategies to promote effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Work in partnership with patients and families to make informed decisions about their care, promoting beneficial relationships and patient-centered care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in a level 2 nursery setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
