Lead Game Content Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Game Content Designer to join our team. As a key member of the design group, you will play a critical role in shaping the overall game experience.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to bring their expertise in content design and narrative skills to create engaging experiences for our players.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the game vision as set by the Creative Director
  • Develop and maintain content design guidelines and best practices
  • Lead the development of the game's narrative, establishing detailed goals for yourself and the team
  • Craft engaging social features that encourage group play and socialization
  • Plan and implement game content and events
Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience shipping AAA projects as a Lead or Principal Designer with experience delivering deep and rich narrative experiences in action-oriented gameplay
  • Experience writing detailed design documentation for content and story
  • Experience using a range of game production content tools such as Unreal Engine, Frostbite, Unity, or proprietary tools
  • Ability to self-assess risk, time, and scope
  • Excellent collaboration skills, driving towards the best possible outcomes
  • A deep understanding of American Football, both the game and the fandom surrounding the sport
