Opportunity Overview
This role involves managing client portfolios, assisting with annual inspections, diagnostic and remedial engineering, and ensuring standards are maintained for technical performance, constructability, and avoidance of professional liability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee field work, report, and advisory work to maintain technical performance, constructability, and professional liability standards.
  • Work with clients to balance design or report requirements with schedules.
  • Provide written proposals to clients that satisfy their requirements.
  • Commission and document coordination sub-consultants, surveyors, etc.
  • Undertake preliminary design and document discussions with clients, councils, etc.
  • Monitor project progress and report to clients, Manager, etc.
  • Document discussions with clients on progress, tenders, negotiations, and construction supervision.
  • Maintain and promote professional service, organisational learning, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous facades/remedial experience, working at heights training, and rope access qualifications highly regarded.
  • High-level report writing and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Standards and Legislation within the Building Sector (BCA).
  • Developed construction and assessment skills.
  • Strong focus on time deliverables.
  • Able to undertake problem-solving to derive innovative solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task projects.
