Skill Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Significant knowledge of legislative reform proposal development, drafting and preparation of discussion papers for consultation, proposed draft legislation and government processes for changes to legislation and policy
  • Experience in working within intergovernmental arrangements, preferably involving model or uniform legislative frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in operationalising policy within regulatory or government environments
  • Capable of balancing competing demands within tight external timeframes
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated experience dealing with diverse and senior stakeholders
