About the Position

Oversee daily maintenance operations, guaranteeing timely and cost-effective work for the entire property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management to direct daily operations, including planning and compliance.
  • Manage building systems and equipment, performing repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize disruption.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance while ensuring optimal plant and equipment performance.
  • Lead a team of maintenance professionals, manage rosters, support training and development, and foster a culture of excellence to meet service standards.
  • Respond efficiently to guest and interdepartmental maintenance requests, supporting other departments and maintaining accurate records.
Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in hotel or building maintenance, including general duties like plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
  • In-depth understanding of compliance standards, safety practices, and preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Strong budgeting and cost control skills, with experience managing budgets and monitoring expenses.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience training and rostering teams to ensure departmental efficiency and staff growth.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, prioritizing tasks and escalating issues appropriately.
