Civil Project Estimator

The role of a Senior Estimator is critical in the successful delivery of projects within the civil construction industry.

  • Working on tenders with a focus on cost-effectiveness
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure timely project delivery
  • Preparation and submission of tenders with accuracy and precision
  • Evaluating and reviewing the estimating process for cost-effectiveness
  • Tender negotiations to secure new business opportunities
  • Coordinate tender handover to project teams
  • Prepare budgets based on tender submissions
  • Assess and price contract variation orders
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 5-10+ years' management experience on civil construction projects with values between $5m to $20m+
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • High level of organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
