Job Description:

This role involves leading the development and maintenance of policies that align with the organization's strategic objectives and evolving regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, as well as a sound knowledge of the commercial banking market.

The position also entails preparation and administration of Delegated Approval Authorities (DAAs), including creation, maintenance, and termination of DAA records as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess extensive experience in lending and credit management, including exposure to policy-related functions. A strong understanding of risk—particularly policy risk—and effective interpretation of legislation and legal guidance are essential. Additionally, excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities, negotiation, dispute resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
