
Critical Care Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Vet Nurse to join our team at Homebush in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage throughout their stay with us.
The ideal candidate will have Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with minimum 2 years of nursing experience, as well as a passion to advance their skills with regular Continuing Education (CE) and ongoing in-house mentorship.
- Nursing Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care even in busy conditions
- Monitor patients closely, administer medications, assist with medical and surgical procedures as needed
- IV catheter placement, blood collection, assisting with diagnostic imaging
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Client Communication:
- Provide advice, answer questions, and support clients during stressful times
