About You Qualified & Experienced: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' clinical experience.
(Trainees need not apply) Confident & Compassionate: Skilled in inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, and surgical assistance, with a genuine passion for animal welfare.
Process-Oriented & Responsible: You're comfortable working within established protocols and are eager to help develop and refine clinic systems to ensure smooth, compliant, and high-quality operations.
Clear Communicator & Team Player: Able to connect with clients, contribute positively to team culture, and remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Your Responsibilities Clinical Support: Assist with all aspects of medical and surgical care, monitor anaesthesia, support dental procedures, and help maintain clinical excellence across the hospital.
Patient & Client Care: Oversee patient admissions and discharges with professionalism and empathy.
Nursing Appointments: Perform post-operative checks, administer medications and injections, and guide clients on nutrition and dental hygiene.
Hospital Systems & Protocols: Maintain clean, organised workspaces, accurate patient records, and support the development and implementation of efficient workflows, protocols, and hospital policies.
